GX20 MDR Control Card

Overview

GX20 is our new MDR control Card based on EtherCAT Technology, equipped with two high current MDR motor outputs, as well as two inputs for photoeyes. GX20 MDR Control Card is used in Conveyor systems for controlling and driving MDR rollers.

The GX20 allows quick installation of the control system using M8 plugs motors and photoeyes, and quick-connect flat cable power connection. The device uses RJ45 Ethernet cables for easy connection for network daisy chain cards and Gateway. The GX20 MDR Control Card allows a combined 8 Amp continuous current for motors, with 15 Amp peak current. It has built-in resettable fuse for protection against over-current and short circuit. The resettable fuse will automatically reset once the over-current error has been resolved and power is cycled on the card. It also features reverse polarity protection to safeguard against sudden high current surges, enhancing overall reliability and safety.

IntellECAT Gateway/PLC

IntellECAT is our Gateway/PLC based on ethercat technology. It acts as a bridge between GX20 and Rockwell PLCs as well as Windows based software VSLogix, allowing seamless data transfer between different parts of the conveyor system. EtherCAT, known for its proven and reliable high-speed, low-latency data exchange, enhances IntellECAT's capability to synchronize and control multiple conveyor segments within 1 to 5ms scan-time.

The IntellECAT Gateway/PLC also supports full programming capability using the free VSLogix software. This allows the integrators to program Conveyor Types like cross-transfer, merge, accumulation as ladder logic templates. This technique allows to use the same code in all similar conveyor sections, which results in faster integration and commissioning of conveyor systems.
